In 1987, I became a licensed Realtor with Century 21. I was one of the top agents of the local broker. One year later, I formed First Fil-Am Realty. Sales were approximately $5 million dollars in my first year of operation. In 1991, I established First Fil-Am Financial Services. This venture provided me with knowledge and experience on loan processing and the ability to locate different sources of funds. Real Estate is a very complicated business because it needs several skills and talents to keep up with the industry. My Bachelor of Science in Engineering helped develop my talent in numbers and in analysis. My Master’s in Business Administration gave me knowledge of starting and operating a sound business. My 15 years experience working with major corporations taught me to plan and organize, to solve problems, and get the job done. My seven years experience in my own mail order corporation taught me how to deal with people. My election as the President of the Filipino American Community of Fairfield, Suisun, and Vacaville for 2 years increased my exposure. |
